There are various temples which are more than 200 holy places devoted to Lord Shiva in Chamoli region, the imperative one is Kedarnath. The place of pilgrimage of Kedarnath is very scenically placed which is situated on the royal mountains cloak of the Garhwal Hills, and is covered by full of high snow mountains and verdant pasture casing the valleys. Kedarnath at the top of the Mandakini River is an extremely holy pilgrimage of the Hindus. Kedarnath Yatra Tour Itinerary:

Day 2: Haridwar – Guptkashi (210 Kms, 7 Hours Approx)
After taking a breakfast check out from the hotel and then make a drive to Guptkashi. Stopovers here book the hotel, in evening visit the well-known temple of Kashi – Vishwanath at Guptkashi and after that return to hotel.
Day 3: Guptkashi – Gaurikund- Kedarnath (35 Kms & 14 Kms trek)
In the early morning leave for Gaurikund, from which start the trek to Kedarnath which is 14km far and at that time visitor can prefer by pony or by horse or by walk at own price. After reaching the Kedarnath check in hotel, take some rest and in evening go for Shankaracharya Samadhi at the back of the temple and attend the evening Aarti.
Day 4: Kedarnath – Rishikesh (14Kms Down Trek & 225 kms 8 hrs by Road)
Early morning go for temple Darshan after temple Darshan return to Hotel. After having the breakfast trek down to Gaurikund. Afterward to make a drive to Rishikesh, after reaching stay in hotel for Overnight stay in Rishikesh.
Day 5: Rishikesh – Delhi (230 Kms, 7 Hours Approx)
In the Morning after having a breakfast makes a drive return to Delhi. At Delhi moves to airport/railway station to catch the flight/train for your home.
