IRCTC Varanasi Tour Itinerary Package

Day 1 :Delhi – Varanasi

Upon arriving in Delhi, our tour representative will guide you to board a train heading towards the holy city of Varanasi. This will be a trip of almost 12 hours which will be an overnight journey.

Day 2 :Varanasi

Once you arrive in Varanasi our tour representative will guide you towards your allotted hotel. After completing your check-in procedure you will have some free time to relax and spend some leisurely time. In the evening you will be made to attend the world famous and extremely pious Ganga Aarti on Ganga ghat followed by a pooja ritual. Later on after the completion of your puja rituals, you will be made to head back to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 3 :Varanasi Sightseeing

Your morning will commence at an early hour when you will be taken for a Ganga snan accompanied with a Pind Daan puja ritual. Post breakfast you will be taken on a mesmerizing temple tour of the city which will include: Kashi Vishwanath Mandir – one of the prime jyotirlinga and a holy pilgrimage site for Shaivites from across the globe; Vishalakshi Temple – dedicated to an aspect of Goddess Parvati, this is also regarded one of the most important shakti peeth in India; Annapurna Devi Mandir – one of the most sacred temple in Varanasi, which is dedicated to the goddess of nourishment; Birla mandir; Sankat Mochan Mandir; Tulsi Manas Mandir – the place where Goswami Tulsidas had the idea for ram Charitra Manas and Durga Mandir. Post darshan you will be made to head back to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 4 :Varanasi – Ayodhya

You will be checked out early in the morning from your hotel in Varanasi and will be transferred to Ayodhya. After covering a road journey of 6 hours you will be checked in to your hotel in Ayodhya where you will be spending the night. After relaxing for a while you will be taken on a half day sightseeing tour of this city. You will be taken to the following places: Ram Janmabhoomi; Dashrath mahal; Kanak mahal; Hanuman Garhi Temple; Karsevapur and Rama Pattabhishekam. The entire landscape of Ayodhya is dotted with places of importance to Lord Ram.

Day 5 :Ayodhya – Allahabad – Delhi

Early in the morning, you will be made to head onwards towards Allahabad which is a 5 hours of road journey. Once you arrive in Allahabad you will be made to immediately check in to your allotted hotel here and head on out for a city sightseeing tour. You will be taken to the following tourist attractions: Triveni sangam snan – the convergence point of rivers Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati; Hanuman Garhi and Patalpuri mandir. By the afternoon you will be taken to: Anand Bhawan, Swaraj Bhawan and Khusro Bagh. Later in the evening, you will be taken to civil lines and cathedral church. Finally, you will be made to head on back to your hotel where you will gather your luggage and head on for the railway station, where you will be made to board the train heading towards Delhi. This journey of 12 hours will be an overnight journey.

Day 6 :Delhi Departure

Your journey will come to an end upon your arrival in Delhi from where you will be made to board the train or flight heading on towards your desired destination.
