Sindhu Pushkaralu Tour Itinerary

Day 1 :Arrival in Srinagar

On arriving in Srinagar you will be met by the Atlas Travel representative who will greet you at the place of arrival. Our representative will guide and take you to the houseboat where you will be staying for the night. On arrival in a traditional Kashmiri houseboat, you will be checked in for an overnight stay.

Day 2 :Srinagar - Gandarbal - Mughal Garden - Srinagar

The morning will start off on a spiritual note. You will be taken for a holy dip in the Sindhu Pushkarini. After the holy dip, breakfast will follow. Post breakfast the next destination will be Shree Kheer Bhawani Durga Temple.

Shree Kheer Bhawani Temple is constructed over the sacred spring and as the name suggests it is dedicated to the goddess Kheer Bhawani. Many people worship the goddess as their universal protector.

Post the temple visit, you will be headed to Mughal Gardens, Nishat Bagh, and Chashma Shahi.

Mughal gardens which are also known as Shalimar Bagh were built by the Mughal emperor Jahangir during the 16th century. It is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Nishat Bagh - Located in the vicinity of Mughal gardens and beautifying the eastern shoreline of Dal Lake, Nishat Bagh is another must visit Gardens in Kashmir, especially due to its proximity to the Mughal Gardens.

Chashme Shahi - Also known as the royal spring is another one of the most famous Mughal gardens in Kashmir that overlooks the Dal Lake. It was built under the command of Shah Jahan during the 16th century as a gift for his eldest son Dara Shikoh.

After a complete day of spending time in the beautiful gardens, you will be taken for some shopping in traditional Kashmiri market places. People can shop for souvenirs like Kashmiri handicrafts, paintings, decorative items, antique pieces, edible items like walnuts, almonds, apples, and more.

After a whole day of fun and shopping, you will be made to head back to your houseboat in Srinagar for an overnight stay.

Day 3 :Srinagar - Gulmarg - Srinagar

Early in the morning, after breakfast and enjoying the morning views from the houseboat you will be taken to the meadow of flowers or Gulmarg.

This hill station is located at a distance of 50 kms from Srinagar and takes 2 hours and is a very popular tourist destination in Kashmir.

The way to Gulmarg is extremely scenic and dotted with apple orchards, pine, and conifer tree covers overlooking snowcapped peaks. It boasts of some of the most world-class skiing slopes. Tourists can enjoy gondola rides, go golfing in the 18-course field, or even indulge in pony rides.

After a day of fun, you will be made to head back to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4 :Srinagar Departure

After having breakfast in the morning you will be checked out of the houseboat. The Atlas Travel tour representative will take you back to the place of your departure. The drop-off at the departure will mark the end of the Sindhu Pushkaralu Yatra Package of 4 days and 3 nights.
