2) Nawab Wajid Ali Shah Zoological Garden

Also known as Nawab Ali Shah Prani Udyan it was established in the year 1921 to mark the visit of prince wales. It has a toy train and a good collection of various diversities of flora and fauna. Inside the premise, there is also the state museum of Lucknow which is a major tourist attraction.

3) Rumi Darwaza

A massive 60 feet tall imposing and elaborately carved out gateway in Lucknow. A prominent example of beautiful Awadhi architecture. It is believed to be named after the 13th century Muslim Sufi Mystic – Jalal Ad-din Muhammad Rumi and is located in between Bara and Chhota Imambara. It remains thronged by tourists throughout the day especially during the weekend.

4) Dilkusha Kothi

It is the remains of an 18th-century English house which is surrounded by incredible greenery and beautiful gardens. Initially, it was used as a hunting lodge and later on as a summer getaway resort. It is a relatively hidden getaway in Lucknow and is very peaceful. It is a very beautiful place where the nature is displayed in its complete glory and it is mingling with the palace in Ruins.

5) Ambedkar Memorial Park

It is a memorial public park in Gomti Nagar and Honors the memories of Birsa Munda, Bhimrao Ambedkar, Jyotirao Phule etc. it was constructed by Mayawati and consists of beautiful structures and other unique elements which beautify the park. It is a good place to visit if you are on sightseeing for Lucknow city.
