9 Devi Darshan Tour Itinerary Package

Day 1 :Delhi – Chandigarh (5 Hours)

After your arrival in Delhi, you will be taken to Chandigarh via a road journey. En route you will be made to visit the Mata Mansa Devi Mandir, which is located in the Panchkula district of Haryana on the foothills of Shivalik mountain ranges. Devotees swarm this prominent Shakti temple and tie a thread around a tree situated inside the temple premises. It is believed that doing so will fulfill their wishes.

After paying your visit to the Mansa Devi Mandir you will then be taken straight to Chandigarh, where you will be checked into your hotel. The remainder of the day will be for leisure and relaxing. You will finally be served a delicious dinner along with an overnight stay.

Day 2 :Chandigarh – Naina Devi – Chintpurni

After having a delicious breakfast dinner you will be taken to Shri Naina Devi Mandir. Located atop a hillock and there are a number of stories surrounding the establishment of this temple one of them being that when Lord Shiva was mourning and roaming the universe about the death of Sati Lord Vishnu had cut up her body in 52 pieces and this is temple is the spot where Goddess Sati’s eye fell. There are two options available to reach this mandir either by stairs or by cable car.

After paying your respects and performing your puja rituals, you will then be taken to Chintpurni.

The drive to Chintpurni takes 4-5 hours to reach from Chandigarh.

Day 3 :Chintpurni – Jwala Ji – Kangra Devi – Dharamsala

Next morning you will be served a delicious breakfast meal, your journey towards the scenic hill station of Dharamsala will commence.

This drive takes four hours to reach the hill station but only after making stops at temples which occurs on the way. First stop will be Mata Jwala Devi, which is one of the manifestations of Goddess Sati which means an eternal flame. It is said that Sati’s tongue fell at this very spot after Lord Vishnu cut up her body using arrows, hence creating one of the most important Shaktipeeth out of 51.

Your next stop will be at Mata Bajreshwari temple, Kangra which is said to be built over the ashen and charred breasts of Goddess Sati. The sacred and holy shrine is known for its extreme wealth it has gathered overages. Later on your journey to Dharamshala will continue.

Upon your arrival in Dharamsala, you will be checked into your hotel where you will be served a delicious dinner meal followed by an overnight stay.

Day 4 :Dharamsala

After having your breakfast in the morning this day will be reserved for a local sightseeing excursion of this pleasant hill station.

Your day of local sightseeing will begin with a visitation to Chamunda Devi Mandir. This ancient temple is believed to be significant since this is the spot where Maa Kali killed the demon kings Shumbh and Nishumbh, giving Goddess Kali a new name, Chamunda.

After this you will be served delicious lunch meal before heading on to your next destination of Dalai Lama monastery.

Dalai Lama monastery is nestled among the serene backdrop and engulfed in a quiet environment. This is the frequent preaching place of Dalai Lama and is famous all over the world for its unmatched beauty and untouched purity.

Next stop will be Bhagsu Nag Temple, an ancient temple where Lord Shiva is said to have prevailed himself making this temple one of the most highly revered Hindu worship sites.

Finally, you will be taken to your hotel for an overnight stay along with a delicious dinner meal.

Day 5 :Dharamsala – Katra – Vaishno Devi

In the morning, post breakfast, you will be taken to Katra which is located in Jammu. After freshening up and relaxing for a while you will be taken for a trek to Vaishno Devi.

Vaishno Devi attracts millions of devotees, pilgrims and tourists throughout the year. With the central deity being a manifestation of Mata Adi Shakti or popularly known as Goddess Durga, this site one of the most important Shaktipeeth in India. There are various modes which will enable you to complete the trek like, palanquin service to even helicopter services.

After the darshan and completing your puja rituals you will be taken to a Dharamsala where you will be spending the night.

Day 6 :Katra

After having breakfast early in the morning you will be taken for an early visit to the shrine. You will then finally be taken back to Katra where you will be checked into a hotel followed by a fulfilling dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 7 :Katra – Amritsar (260 Kms / 6 Hours)

Early in the morning after having a healthy and hearty breakfast you will start your journey towards Amritsar.

Upon your arrival in Amritsar, you will be checked into a hotel where you will freshen up and relax before heading out for an evening excursion of the city. End of the day you will be served delicious dinner followed by an overnight stay.

Day 8 :Amritsar – Delhi (451 Kms / 7 Hours 30 Mines)

Early in the morning after having a wholesome breakfast meal you will be taken for a visit to one of the most popular temples in Amritsar, Golden temple. Considered as one of the most important site for Sikhism, this place of worship sees thousands of visitors on a daily basis. The glorious and majestic temple has been destroyed and rebuilt over a period of time making it one of the most significant Sikh worship sites.
