Himalayan Yoga Tour Itinerary Package

Day 1 :Arrival in Delhi

Upon your arrival in Delhi, our tour representative will accompany and transport you to your allotted hotel. You will then be checked in and the remaining day will be left for doing your leisurely activities like exploring the surrounding bazaars and marketplaces and gorging on local and delicious food. Finally, you will be taken to your hotel for a delicious dinner meal and an overnight stay.

Day 2 :Delhi Local Sightseeing

After having a fulfilling breakfast meal in the morning you will then be taken for a sightseeing excursion of Delhi. It will start off with a visit to the famous Akshardham mandir.

Literally meaning the abode of almighty Lord Swaminarayan this temple complex is one of the main attractions for Hindu devotees from all over the world. Filled with interesting features like a water show, lush green garden, and a cultural boat ride, makes this temple a great place to spend time and bond with your family. Being one of the most comprehensive and largest temple complexes in the world your majority part of the day will be in exploring this magnificence.

You will then be served lunch in the afternoon after which you will be then taken to your next stop in Delhi, which is Qutub Minar complex.

The whole Qutub complex is a collection of ancient and significant buildings and monuments dating back to the Delhi Sultanate. The famous Qutub Minar was built by the first sultan of Delhi, Qutb-ud-din Aibak, and in recent times several other adjoining monuments were included by the Archeological Survey of India. Every day several travelers visit this place since it has large lush green gardens for picnics.

You will then be taken to one of the oldest forts in Delhi, Purana Qila. The fort is said to be built during the 3rd century which was the pre-Mauryan period. One can experience a fun sound and light show which showcases the history of ‘seven cities of Delhi’.

Finally, you will be taken to back to your hotel where you will be served a fulfilling dinner meal followed by an overnight stay.

Day 3 :Delhi – Haridwar (225 km / 5 Hours 30 Mines)

Early in the morning after breakfast, you will be taken to Haridwar. Upon your arrival in Haridwar, you will be greeted by our tour representative who will then guide you towards your hotel there you will be comfortably checked in. The remainder of the day will be reserved for your leisurely activities like taking a stroll in the vibrant bazaars, eating some of the local and lip-smacking food and finally taking a dip in the holy Ganga River.

After sunset, you will be attending the famous and beautiful Ganga Aarti which will guarantee to spiritually awaken you. After this you will be taken back to your hotel for a fulfilling dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4 :Haridwar Yoga Session

Your day will begin with a refreshing and rejuvenating 2-hour yoga session. As per the instructions of the yoga instructor you will be served with a light breakfast. After this you will be taken on a local sightseeing tour of Haridwar. Firstly you will be taken to Daksheswara Mahadev Temple.

Daksheswara mandir is one of the ancient and the oldest temple in the town. Dedicated to Lord Shiva this temple was built in 1810, and is one of the most popular pilgrimage sites for Shaivite devotees during the time of Mahashivratri. The temple is situated in the same place where Lord Shiva’s wife, Sati’s father was performing a yajna.

Your next stop will be Parad Shivling, meaning Lord Shiva made of mercury. As a part of one of the most holy sites of pilgrimage for Hindu devotees one cannot afford to miss this spectacular mandir. Along with the main attraction being the mercury Shivling, people also visit this temple to view the Rudraksha tree, which is widely believed to heal a number of ailments.

Your evening will then be reserved for another yoga session. After this you are free to take a mind calming and relaxing walk on Har ki Pauri. Your day will end with a fulfilling dinner meal and an overnight stay.

Day 5 :Haridwar Yoga Session

The morning time is reserved for a relaxing yoga session. After having your yogic breakfast your day of exploring the city will begin. First stop is Chandi Devi temple, which is located on top of Neel Parvat and is one of the most important Siddh Peeth in India. The presiding deity of this mandir is Goddess Chandi who is the most ferocious incarnation of Adi Parashakti. A visit here will definitely rejuvenate your state of mind. The temple can be reached with the help of a ropeway which is an experience in itself.

The afternoon time is saved for a book reading session where you will be taught more about Ayurveda and yoga.

Your evening time will be scheduled for another yoga session and a leisurely walk by the ghats. Finally, you will be served dinner which will be followed with an overnight stay.

Day 6 :Haridwar – Rajaji National Park

Early morning is reserved for your 2 hour yoga session. After a light yogic breakfast, you will be taken for exploring the wildlife at Rajaji National Park.

This Indian national park and tiger reserve is located comfortably on the foothills of the Himalayas. Home to a plethora of flora, fauna and birds this place is a wildlife lover’s paradise. You will be taken on jeep safari where you may witness animals like, jungle cat, tigers, and leopards, hyenas along with birds like woodpeckers, vultures, kingfishers and pheasants.

After a day filled with fun and excitement, you will be taken for your evening yoga session at your resort. Relax away and enjoy your delicious dinner meal followed by an overnight stay.

Day 7 :Haridwar

After a refreshing morning yoga session, you will be served your yogic breakfast. Post breakfast you will be taken for a special session with the yoga experts who will help and guide you in gaining more knowledge about yoga and meditation.

You will then be served a delicious lunch meal, after which you will be taken to meet a highly revered astrologer who will tell your future and answer your queries. During the evening time you will be taken for a visit at the local bazaars and markets for shopping and collecting souvenirs. Finally, you will be served a delicious dinner which will be followed by an overnight stay.

Day 8 :Haridwar – Rishikesh (45 Mins)

After your rejuvenating yoga and breakfast, you will be taken for a day of fun at Rishikesh which is just a few minutes away. This town is known for being holy as well as its various adventure sports activities.

Upon your arrival in Rishikesh, you will be taken to your rafting camp near the Ganga River. After refreshing yourself you will explore the nearby places on foot and relax by the river.

After sunset, dinner will be served around the bonfire followed by an overnight stay.

Day 9 :Rishikesh

After a refreshing yoga session in the morning, you will be served a delicious and healthy breakfast meal. You will then be taken for a thrilling and fun-packed river rafting on the mighty River Ganga. This expedition will make you cross the rapids upon a stretch of 18kms.

After this you will proceed towards the camp for lunch and sunbathing by the river beach.

As the sun sets you will be served a delicious meal around the bonfire which will be followed with an overnight stay.

Day 10 :Rishikesh – Delhi

After a breakfast meal, you will be taken to Haridwar railway station where you will board a train to Delhi. Upon your arrival in Delhi, you will be safely transferred to the airport for your journey onwards.
