Muktinath Yatra Itinerary from Bangalore

Day 1 :Bangalore/Chennai/Hyderabad – Arrival in Kathmandu

As per the package scheduling, you will be asked to gather at the Bangalore/Chennai/Hyderabad Airport from where you will board a flight for Kathmandu. Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, you will be greeted by our representative who will be your guide for this whole journey.

You will be escorted to your hotel room where you will perform some check-in formalities and later, enjoy the whole day according to your own wish. You can also go for a walk around the neighborhood on your own. But, please return during dinner time.

Day 2 :Sightseeing tour of Kathmandu – Road trip to Pokhara

Today, you will be asked to meet in the hallway around 7 am and you will first enjoy a nice breakfast meal and later, will walk a sightseeing tour of Kathmandu. The places you will visit in Kathmandu are Pashupatinath Temple – a highly religious Hindu temple where an old statue of Lord Shiva is worshipped and a wide stance of river Bagmati will give a spectacular treat to your eyes, Garden of Dreams – a beautiful garden that walks you through magnificent amphitheater, urns, gorgeous causeway, and a still pond, Budhanilkantha Temple – an open-air temple situated at the foothills of Shivpuri where a reclining statue of Lord Vishnu in the middle of pool is worshipped and embraced by the people of the Hindu community.

After this, you will commence on your journey towards Pokhara and for this, you will enjoy a scenic ride along the beautiful terrains of Nepal. Upon reaching Pokhara, you will go through some check-in formalities and spend the rest of the day according to your will. You can also visit the beautiful hillside lake and later, enjoy the overnight stay.

Day 3 :Fly to Jomsom from Pokhara – Pay homage at Muktinath Temple

You will board an early morning flight for Jomsom from Pokhara so, set an early morning alarm for the same. At Jomsom, the representative will lead you towards your hotel room where you will refresh yourself and later, head for the breakfast.

After breakfast, you will enjoy a 15-minute short walk through this old town in order to hail a Jeep which will take you to Muktinath. On reaching the Parking point of the Jeep near Muktinath, you will again walk for about 20-minutes in the upward direction to reach the temple gates. Then, firstly, you can take a holy dip in 108 water spouts available at this temple and later, you will perform the holy rituals that one needs to do for worshipping.

After Lord Vishnu Darshan, you can also walk up to Jwalamai for the Goddess Darshan. Next, you will walk back to the Jeep point and drive back to Jomsom. And, the rest of the day will at your own leisure.

Day 4 :Jomsom – Back to Pokhara – Sightseeing tour of Pokhara

After breakfast, you will again board a flight back to Pokhara and upon reaching there, you will first check-in to your hotel room. When you will refresh yourself from earlier traveling then, you will embark on your sightseeing tour of Pokhara.

In Pokhara, you will visit places like Davi’s Fall – which is 500-feet long underground fall that beautifully stretches itself alongside the lush green beauty of Pokhara, Gupteswar Mahadev Cave – a famous Lord Shiva temple found in a 3 km long cave from where rive Seti emerges, Barahi Temple – a two-storey pagoda temple which can be reached through a boat ride on Phewa Lake.

In the evening, you will be dropped back to your hotel room for an overnight stay.

Day 5 :Pokhara – drive to Chitwan

After having breakfast, you will resume your journey once again and drive to Chitwan which is famous for its National Park. On reaching Chitwan, firstly, you will check-in to your hotel room and later, when you will finish your lunch, you will head for your jungle safari.

You will enjoy a ride on the Elephant and will also cruise through the majestic beauty of this National Park. You can spot here many wild animals and rare bird species. So, this will be a good place to enjoy photography.

Later in the evening, you will enjoy a cultural dance program where locals dance their regional dance form like Tharu.

Day 6 :Chitwan – Back to Kathmandu

When you will finish breakfast, you will then drive back to Kathmandu which is 157 km away from Chitwan. En-route to Kathmandu, you will also pay a short visit to Manakamana Temple for which you will enjoy a cable car ride.

On reaching Kathmandu, you will be assigned your hotel room where you will enjoy an overnight stay.

Day 7 :Kathmandu – Departure for Bangalore/Chennai/Hyderabad

And today, the representative will guide to boarding a flight back to Bangalore/Chennai/Hyderabad from where this spiritual journey started. And on this note, good luck with your onward journey.
