Mussoorie with Dehradun Tour Itinerary

Day 1 :Delhi – Mussoorie (7 Hours)

Early in the morning, our tour representative will escort you to Mussoorie by road. This journey will be completed in 7 hours. After reaching Mussoorie you will be taken to your hotel and checked in. The rest of the day will be spent in refreshing up and relaxing after a tiring bus journey. Finally, you will be served a wholesome dinner meal followed by an overnight stay.

Day 2 :Mussoorie Sightseeing

After having a hearty and healthy breakfast meal your day of sightseeing in the queen of hills will begin.

The first destination will be, Kempty falls. This waterfall is located conveniently in Ram Gaon in the Tehri district. Surrounded by high mountain ranges and inviting greenery, this falls is one of the prime tourist locations in Mussoorie. Falling from a height of 4,540 ft. the entire ambiance of this location is extremely serene and calming.

Next stop will be a visit to an extinct volcano site, Gun Hill. Standing tall at a height of 2,024 ft. this hill is the second highest point in the said area. Offering a panoramic view of the mountains and the blue skies one can experience nature at its best. You can shop to your heart’s content while there and go for a relaxing ropeway tour.

After that, you will be served a wholesome lunch meal from where you will be taken to one of the best picnic spots in Mussoorie, Company Garden. This garden is enveloped with mighty hills on the outside and colorful vibrancy on the inside. This place offers options for families to enjoy their time here which includes, paddle boating in the lake, baby train journey, and lifelike statue of world leaders and complete with a mini waterfall.

After that, you will be taken for a relaxing trip to George Hill Everest. Built-in 1832 this estate served as a residence for Sir George Everest, the surveyor general of India. The house gives you an exhilarating and panoramic view of the Doon valley on one side and awe-inspiring and mesmerizing snow clad mountain ranges on the other side. A rejuvenating experience indeed!

Your last stop for the day will be Mall Road, which stretches from Picture Palace to the Library. Dotted with a number of colorful shops and eateries this stretch is always thronged with tourists and visitors from across the globe.

You will finally be taken back to your hotel, where you will be served a complete dinner meal along with an overnight stay.

Day 3 :Mussoorie – Dehradun (1 Hour 20 Mines)

Post breakfast you will be taken to Dehradun via road where you will be taken and checked into your hotel. This day will be reserved for local sightseeing in Dehradun.

Your very first destination will be a visit to the holy and pious Tapkeshwar Temple. Situated in among the forest side and dedicated to Lord Shiva, the main Shivalinga of the mandir is located inside a natural cave. It is known for the fact that the water droplets from the ceiling of the cave drips down in the linga. It is also one of the most important pilgrimage sites in Dehradun which attracts devotees from far and wide.

Next in line is the Malsi Deer Park. Considered as one of the chief attractions of Dehradun this mini zoological park is nestled among the serene Shivalik Range of the Doon valley. This place is the perfect getaway if you are looking for some time away from the hustle and bustle of the city life. Lying on the outskirts of the town, this zoo is home to a number of various different types of exotic birds, animals and flowers.

After a wholesome lunch meal, you will be taken to robber’s river cave. Famous for its family picnics this site is known for its strange phenomenon of making water disappear and suddenly appear. The perfect spot if you are looking to achieve some peace of mind.

Your final stop will be Paltan Bazaar Market. This is the place where you have the option of shopping till your heart’s content. Pick out your favorite spices, edibles, local clothing, wooden handicraft items and even local paintings among a whole plethora of different products.

You will then be taken to your hotel in Dehradun for a delicious dinner meal and an overnight stay.

Day 4 :Dehradun – Sahastradhara (1 Hour) – Delhi

After having your breakfast early in the morning you will be taken to one of the most popular tourist destination, Sahastradhara. The place offers the impressive and magnificent beauty of the surroundings which will wipe out all your stress. The place is filled with caves, waterfalls and complete with terrace farming done by the local people.

You will finally be driven back to Delhi hence ending your trip.
