Muktinath Tour Itinerary

Day 1 :Arrival in Kathmandu

Once you reach Kathmandu our tour representative will meet you there and guide you to your allotted hotel in Kathmandu for your overnights stay here. By the evening time you will be taken to the sacred temple of Pashupatinath for the auspicious Aarti Darshan.

Day 2 :Kathmandu – Manakamana Temple – Pokhara

Your 200 km journey to Pokhara will commence early in the morning. It is advised for you to leave from Kathmandu as early as 6 or 7 o Clock in the morning since you will be able to beat the heavy traffic on the way. En route at 142 Kms you will be made to visit the popular Manakamana Temple which is visited via a fun and thrilling cable car ride. Here the goddess who is worshipped inside the temple is in the form of the Hindu goddess Bhagwati and is known for fulfilling the wishes of all her devotees who make it a point of worshipping her making it one of the most famous pilgrimage destinations in Nepal.

Finally, later on in the afternoon, you will be reaching Pokhara which is one of the most famous tourist hubs around Kathmandu and is frequented as a part of a quick weekend getaway. You will be immediately checked in to your allotted hotel here where you will be spending your night and you can either spend your evening in a leisurely manner.

Day 3 :Pokhara – Jomsom – Muktinath – Jomsom

Early in the morning after having your breakfast you will be making your way to Jomsom which will be a journey of almost 8 to 8.5 hours. From here on Muktinath temple is located only at a distance of 1 hour. After completing your Darshan you will be driven back to Jomsom where you will be staying the night.

Day 4 :Jomsom – Pokhara

Early in the morning, you will be transferred to your allotted hotel in Pokhara where you will be spending the night. Once you get checked in to your hotel you will be free to either go out and explore the neighborhood market places or some tourist spots or relax in the hotel itself.

Day 5 :Pokhara (Drive) – Chitwan

Early in the morning, you will be driven straight to the famous home of one-horned rhino, royal Bengal tiger and snow leopard (among others) i.e. Chitwan National park. Here you will also get the opportunity to take a ride on the elephants and spend some time with them as well since they are domesticated and welcoming towards tourists. This will be a completely guided tour where you will be made to experience some unique wildlife collection that will be a mind-boggling time. You will also be taken on a canoeing trip post breakfast which will take you on a silent and quiet trip down the gracefully winding river of Rapti which will allow you to observe some of the wildlife and exotic bird’s collection here. After a fun-filled day at the national Park you will be taken to your hotel for an overnight stay at Chitwan.

Day 6 :Chitwan – Devghat

After having your breakfast early in the morning you will be driven to Devghat which is situated at a distance of almost 4 to 5 hours from Chitwan. After taking a holy snan at the Ghat and completing your puja rituals you will be driven to Triveni Ghat where you will be crossing the famous Narayani River with the help of a boat on order to make your way to Valmiki Ashram. After the completion of your puja rituals and spending some peaceful time at the Ashram you will be driven back to Chitwan since you will be spending your night there itself. Later on, in the evening you will be witnessing some traditional and folk dances.

Day 7 :Chitwan – Kathmandu

After having your breakfast in the morning you will be driven to Kathmandu from Chitwan which takes a duration of almost 6 hours. En route you will be viewing some stunning views of the surroundings of vegetable fields, terrace farming and you may also observe people going about with their daily chores on here which will make the journey to Kathmandu a mesmerizing one itself. Once you finally reach Kathmandu you will be quickly allotted to your hotel here where you will be spending the night.

Day 8 :Sightseeing

Breakfast early in the morning you will be taken on a fun and memorable sightseeing trip of Kathmandu with your first stop being at Dakshinkali Temple where people not only offer their prayers but also perform animal sacrifices. After completing your rituals you will be taken to Shesh Narayan another important temple of Nepal. You will then make your way to visit the world’s tallest Shiva statue in Sanga. Lastly, you will be making your way to Durbar Square the cultural hub of Nepal. Finally, you will be heading back to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 9 :Kathmandu Departure

Early in the morning after breakfast, you will be made to head to the airport where you will be boarding the flight for any destination you require that will mark the end of your journey with us.
