Day 1 :Arrive Jammu & Move to Baltal
Upon your arrival at Jammu railway station, after giving you a warm welcome our tour representative will take you to Baltal; a picturesque hamlet in the hill town of Sonamarg. Baltal comes with charming scenic appeal and serves as the halt destination for pilgrims of the Amarnath Yatra. Baltal is located only 14 kms away from the holy shrine. The drive is a long drive and takes near about 12 hrs to reach Baltal from Jammu. On reaching we check into our pre-booked tent for dinner and night stay.
Day 2 :Baltal – Amarnath Cave – Baltal
Today we’ll make our way to the holy crave shrine of Amarnath. For that we reach the Baltal Helipad early morning. After completion of the checking we are given our yatra boarding pass soon after which we begin our Amarnath Helicopter yatra which is of course an ethereal experience. On reaching Panchtarni; the next important stopover in vicinity to the Amarnath Cave, our Helicopter descends at the Panchtarni helipad and we start our trek towards the holy cave of Amarnath ji covering a distance of about 6 kms. Those who cannot trek can hire a palki or pony ride to reach the Amarnath Cave. Post darshan of Amarnath Ji, we trek our way back to Panchtarni from where we start our Helicopter journey back to Baltal. On reaching Baltal, we retire to our tent for dinner and night stay.
Day 3 :Baltal – Jammu
Next morning we drive back to Jammu and check into hotel for dinner and night stay. Try to have a sound sleep this night as next morning we’ll have to trek uphill to the Cave Shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi.
Day 4 :Vaishno Devi Yatra
Next day early morning we drive to Katra; the base camp of Vaishno Devi trek. Vaishno Devi is a shrine of Goddess Adi Shakti and is perched atop the Trikuta Parvat ranges. To reach the holy shrine of the Mata we need to trek uphill across a distance of 13 kms. Those who wish to avoid trekking can avail the Helicopter yatra facility or the palanquin or pony services. After paying our obeisance to the Goddess we trek back to Katra and then drive to our hotel for dinner and night stay.
Day 5 :Jammu Departure
Next morning we drive back to Jammu. On reaching Jammu, our tour representative will drop you at Jammu railway station and will see you off with many memorable experiences of a deeply spiritual tour.
