Galle’s Dutch Reformed Church

You will start this sightseeing tour on a spiritual note by visiting the town’s very popular Church which was reformed by the Dutch colonist during the 18th century. The church is built by the Dutch Commander of Galle with his wife for a heartful thankful note to God for giving them an opportunity of having a child of their own. And it later went under different forms of renovation during the British period but in 2004, the President of Sri Lanka officially inaugurated this church one-last time. Here, you can sit in silence and perfectly, realize the beauty of solitude.

Galle Fort

Galle Fort is another remarkable architecture in Sri Lanka and is beautifully sprawled on a huge area near the southwest coastline of Sri Lanka. The fort represents a very colorful history and belongs to multi-ethnicity and many religious groups. While exploring this fort, you may come across a small museum informing you about its rich history. The fort also harbors administrative offices, antique shops, cafes, bookstores, stunning villas, etc. So, enjoy the sight of low tides hitting hard on the surface of this fort and follow your eyes to the utmost beauty of the coastline.
