North East Hill Triangle Tour

Upon your arrival at the Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station, you will be welcomed by our tour representative who will be waiting for you to pick you up from there and transfer you to the destination that is popular among tourists as “Queen of Hills” i.e. Darjeeling. This hill journey is going to be one of the most enjoyable and memorable journey as you will be traversing across numerous tea gardens and the aroma leaves you spellbound.

Wake up very early morning as you are going to witness the mesmerizing and the captivating view of sunrise and for this you will be driving towards The Tiger Hill which is located at a distance of almost 10 km from your accommodation. On reaching this destination, you will not only capture the views of sunrise but also the closer view of Mt. Everest and also Kanchenjunga and after capturing these moments in your mind and camera return back to the hotel. On the way to your hotel, you will be visiting the popular Ghoom Monastery that was constructed in the year 1857 by Lama Sherab Gyatso. The 15 feet tall statue of Lord Buddha is the major attraction of this site. On returning to Darjeeling via Batasia Loop, enter your hotel room and freshen up which is then followed by serving your taste buds with relishing breakfast. After you are done with your morning meal, get ready to explore the wonders of this hill city including the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, one of the most renowned institutes in the world which was established in 1954. Later on, you will be visiting other wonders of the state that include Tenzing Rock, Tea Garden, Japanese Temple, PN Zoological Park, Tibetan Refugee Center, etc. Later in the evening, return to your stay to have a relaxing overnight halt.

After you binge on the lavish breakfast, this is the time to proceed towards another hill station i.e. Kalimpong which is adorned with several scenic splendors and panoramic landscapes. On reaching this gorgeous hill station you will be transferred to your pre-booked hotel and later in the afternoon, you will start the city excursion of Kalimpong where you will be visiting the famous Mangal Dham, Dr. Grahams Home, Flowers nurseries, Delo Hill, and Durbin Dhara Hills. When it gets dark move back to the hotel where you will be served with lip-smacking lunch followed by a relaxing overnight stay.

You will start your drive towards Gangtok, the capital city of Sikkim but before you start this road distance finish your breakfast and then complete the check-out formalities at the hotel. Once you reach Gangtok, you will be taken straight to the hotel where you will freshen up and then without wasting time you will start your city sightseeing tour that includes exploring paces like Institute of Tibetology, Rumtek Monastery, Flower Exhibition Centre, Banjhakri Falls, etc.

Start your day little early today as you are going to drive towards Tsomgo Lake which is located at a distance of almost 40 km from Gangtok. This sacred lake has been spread over an area of 1 km and is almost 15m deep and after spending some time at this lake start proceeding towards Baba Harbhajan Temple which is 16 km ahead from here. By the afternoon you will be in your hotel and for the rest of the day you are free to relax or you can also indulge yourself in the activities you want to like roaming around the nearby areas or the local markets to get some souvenirs.

There is no such schedule for the day and you are only scheduled for your drive towards the Bagdogra Airport from where you will board the flight for your journey towards home.
