Day 1: Arrival in Delhi
On reaching Delhi airport or railway station, our tour representative greets you firmly and then takes you to the pre-booked hotel. Check-in at the hotel, unwind yourself and then freshen up. Later if time permits then go and explore some of the local sightseeing destinations in the valley. Return to the hotel after the sightseeing for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 02: Delhi – Haridwar – Govind Ghat / Joshimath
Post breakfast, check-out from the hotel and then drive straight drive towards Govind Ghat or Joshimath. Haridwar which tops the list of the holiest cities in the state of Uttarakhand, which is heavily flocked by Hindu pilgrims for performing the Puja rituals. Attending evening Ganga Aarti is the most beautiful experience in this city. Later on, continue your drive towards Joshimath or Govind Ghat. Joshimath is popular as a winter abode of Badrinath Temple and this is why it holds a great religious significance in Hinduism.
Upon arrival in Haridwar, check-in at the hotel. Freshen up and then enjoy the scrumptious dinner in the hotel and then overnight stay.
Day 03: Joshimath / Govind Ghat – Ghangaria
Start your day with savoring a healthy breakfast at the hotel. Post breakfast check-out from the hotel and then travel towards Govindghat which is a very important base camp to reach the destination Valley of flowers and also the Hemkund Sahib. After reaching here, commence your trekking journey to reach the magical Valley of Flowers. While covering this trekking trail you will be astonished by the beautiful surroundings and the picturesque landscapes including the breathtaking waterfalls, dense forests, and the two quaint villages namely Bhyundar and Pulna. On reaching Ghangaria which is nestled on the holy confluence of Pushpawati and Bhyundar Ganga and is the base of the trekking trail to Hemkund Sahib and the Valley of Flowers. Check-in at the hotel unwind yourself then enjoy the dinner and go for an overnight stay.
Day 04: Ghangaria – Valley of Flowers – Ghangaria
Post a hearty breakfast in the hotel at Ghangaria, start your trekking trail to Valley of Flowers from the base of Ghangaria village. This stunning flower meadow is spread over an area of almost 87 sq. kilometers and seems like a pictorial wonderland for adventure lovers, nature lovers, and the shutterbugs. Declared as an important world heritage site by UNESCO, Valley of Flowers is worldwide famous for its lofty mountain peaks, a wide variety of colorful and scented flowers, and also for its flower beds. It also holds a great place in Hinduism as it is the place from where Lord Rama brought Sanjeevani to save his brother’s life. Rhododendrons, strawberries, asters, Marsh Marigold, etc. are some of the major species of flowers found at this place.
Post exploring the beauties of this beautiful flower meadow, return to the hotel in Ghangaria for dinner and then overnight stay.
Day 05: Ghangaria – Hemkund Sahib – Ghangaria
Post a healthy Breakfast, start to trek for Hemkund Sahib. The place holds a great religious significance in Sikhism as the place is associated with the tenth guru of Sikh, Guru Gobind Singh. According to mythology and beliefs, Guru Gobind Singh performed a deep meditation for many years.
While covering the trekking trail to reach this magnificent Gurudwara you will be getting the awe-inspiring views of the dense forests, Cascading Waterfalls, and the majestic Himalayan ranges. The gurudwara is reckoned as the gurudwara located on the highest altitude. It is nestled at an elevation of almost 4329 meters above sea level. This star-shaped gurudwara is known for its appealing architecture designed with white-marbled stones. Pay homage at this splendid religious site and seek blessings of the Sikh Guru.
Day 06: Ghangaria – Govind Ghat – Joshimath – Haridwar
On the sixth day of your journey, start your early morning to cover the trekking trail to reach Govindghat. Upon arrival at Govind Ghat, start driving towards Joshimath and then towards Haridwar. On reaching Haridwar, check-in at the hotel, loosen up yourself and then enjoy the night meal and go for a sound sleep.
Day 07: Departure from Haridwar to Delhi
On the final day of your Valley of flowers tour, enjoy the last meal in the state of Uttarakhand and then pack your bag. Post-check-out from the hotel, our tour representative will take to Haridwar Railway Station to cover the journey towards home.
