Chardham Yatra Itinerary from Delhi

Day 1 :Arrival in Delhi and drive towards Rishikesh

On reaching Delhi, you will be welcomed by our representative who will then assist you to reach the place where the vehicle for Rishikesh is parked. You will be leaving from Delhi at night as this is going to be an overnight journey which you will be spending on the bus.

Day 2 :Rishikesh – Barkot

You will be reaching Rishikesh early morning and upon arrival, you will be served with a relishing breakfast. Post you binge on the breakfast, get ready to explore the nearby sightseeing destinations in the city including Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula, Sivananda Ashram, Swarg Ashram, Geeta Ashram, etc. In the afternoon, move towards the hotel for lunch and then start driving towards Barkot via Dehradun and Mussoorie. On the way, you will be making a halt at Kempty Falls and then move ahead towards Barkot where you will be staying overnight.

Day 3 :Barkot – Yamunotri – Barkot

Early morning, you will be leaving for Jankichatti from where the trek to Yamunotri commences. Once you reach there, you can opt for pony or palanquin rides if you are unable to cover this huge and challenging trekking trail. On reaching the shrine, buy Prasad and then proceed towards Surya Kund, the holy thermal water spring where you can take a dip before entering the temple. There is also a ritual to perform puja rituals at Divya Shila and then head to the main temple of Yamunotri. After completing the puja rituals, move back to Janki Chatti from where you will move straight towards Barkot for an overnight stay.

Day 4 :Barkot – Uttarkashi

On the 4th day of your Char Dham Yatra, you will be leaving for Uttarkashi and en-route which you will be visiting the sacred Shiva Cave, Kashi Vishwanath Temple, and Prakateshwar Mahadev Temple and then you will head back to the hotel where you will be spending the night.

Uttarkashi- located on the banks of River Bhagirathi, the major tributary of River Ganges. This holy town in Uttarakhand holds great importance and significance as it is believed that Lord Shiva resided here for some time. Shakti Mata Temple and Hanuman Mandir are the other places to visit here.

Day 5 :Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi

Early morning after getting up, you will start your drive towards Gangotri, the Dham dedicated to River Ganga. On reaching this holy Dham, first, take a bath into the holy river Bhagirathi and perform rituals here. Once it is done, move back to the temple where you will be paying offerings to Goddess Ganga and seek her blessings for lifelong happiness and prosperity. There are some other smaller temples in the temple complex and are dedicated to different deities. After you are done with the puja rituals head back to Uttarkashi for spending the night.

Day 6 :Uttarkashi – Sitapur

There is a very easy schedule for the day where you will be leaving from Uttarkashi and drive towards Sitapur. On reaching Sitapur, you will be transferred to your pre-decided hotel where you will be served with a lip-smacking dinner followed by an energized night stay.

Day 7 :Sitapur – Kedarnath – Sitapur

You will be starting your 7th day of the journey very early and after you get up to freshen up and then come out of the hotel. Our driver will drop you at Sonprayag from where you will be commencing your trekking activity to visit Kedarnath Temple. If in case you find yourself unable or unfit to cover this trekking route then you can opt for pony or palanquin rides and if budget is not your concern then helicopter packages are the best option for you. Once you complete the trek move towards the entrance of Kedarnath Dham where you will be doing the philosophy of Lord Shiva and soon after completing the puja rituals return to the hotel or if you want then spend some time in capturing some wonderful moments in your camera.

Day 8 :Sitapur – Pipalkoti

Today you can relax more and can start your little late as the only schedule for the day is to drive towards Pipalkoti. On reaching the desired destination, you will be escorted to the pre-booked hotel for dinner and night stay.

Day 9 :Pipalkoti – Joshimath – Badrinath

Start your day with a drive towards Badrinath Dham where on the way you will be visiting Narsimha Temple and Vishnuprayag and after reaching Badrinath Temple, pay your offerings to Lord Badri and seek his blessings for lifelong prosperity and wealth and then completing your puja rituals, head towards Mana Village, the must-visit destination in Badrinath and the last Indian village located on the border of India and Tibet. Spend some moment there and capture a few amazing pictures head back to the hotel for breakfast and then for the rest of the day you can walk along with the nearby destinations around this Dham. There are many sacred places encircling this shrine so visit those places and make your journey more spiritual and if time allows then perform Pind Daan Puja at Brahma Kapal. Do not forget to seek the blessings of Lord Vishnu at Joshimath, the winter abode of Lord Badri.

Day 10 :Badrinath- Srinagar

If you are willing to participate in the special puja organized at Badrinath Dham then wake up early morning and move towards the hotel and soon after this puja ritual head back to the hotel for breakfast. Post breakfast pack your bags and leave for Srinagar en-route which you can visit almost all the Prayags. On reaching the decided destination, you will be transferred to your pre-booked hotel for a night stay.

Day 11 :Srinagar – Haridwar

After you get up, treat your taste buds with the lip-smacking Garhwali cuisine in breakfast and then leave from the hotel after completing al the check-out formalities. Our representative will assist you towards Haridwar were on the way you can visit Devprayag and then upon your arrival in Haridwar, take a dip into the River Ganges and then participate in the Ganga Aarti ceremony, the key charm of this city. Explore the other Ghats and Mansa Devi Temple and then you will be served with the dinner, Post completing the dinner you will start your drive towards Delhi which is going to be an exciting overnight journey.

Day 12 :Departure towards your Home

On reaching Delhi very early in the morning, you will be dropped at the railway station or the airport from where you will board the transit for your place. Wish you a very happy and safe journey ahead.
