Chardham Yatra Itinerary Package from Bhopal

Day 1 :Bhopal – Delhi – Rishikesh (1,048 km/ 19 h 12 min)

Upon your arrival in Delhi from Bhopal you will be greeted by our tour representative who will assist and board you to your train heading towards the holy town of Rishikesh. This will be an overnight train journey.

Day 2 :Rishikesh – Barkot (200 km / 7 hr)

You will be arriving in Rishikesh – the gateway to Chardham Yatra – from where your pilgrimage yatra will kick start. You will be taken to a brief sightseeing of the holy town which will include places like – Lakshman Jhula, Ram Jhula, Geeta ashram and Sivananda ashram. Post the sightseeing you will be made to head on towards Barkot which is situated at a road journey distance of 7 hours. En route you will be stopping at the famous Kempty falls in Mussoorie for a brief sightseeing. Once you arrive in Barkot you will be immediately checked in to your allotted hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 3 :Barkot – Yamunotri – Barkot (45 km Road / 6 km Trek)

You will be made to visit the very first dham of Yamunotri early in the morning. You will be dropped at Janki Chatti from where your trekking towards Yamunotri Dham will commence. You will be covering a distance of 6 kms till the Yamunotri shrine. If you are not keen on trekking or walking your way up to the main temple shrine then you will have the option of choosing from pony or palki rides which are available for the convenience of the yatris. The cost of these alternative travel options will be incurred by you. After your darshan at the dham you will be made to head back to Janki Chatti from where you will be staying overnight at a hotel there.

Day 4 :Barkot – Uttarkashi (90 km/4 hrs)

After having your breakfast you will be made to head onwards to Uttarkashi which is situated at a distance of 4 hours of road journey. On your way you will be made to stop over for a brief sightseeing of Prakateshwar Mahadev Mandir. Upon your arrival in Uttarkashi, you will be immediately checked in to your allotted hotel for an overnight stay. You will also be taken for a brief sightseeing of the Kashi Vishwanath Mandir which is situated here.

Day 5 :Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi (100 km / 4hr)

Today your visit to the 2nd dham will commence which is Gangotri. The entire journey is laden with scenic and breathtaking vistas, like the holy centre of Harsil, which makes the entire journey completely worth it. After your darshan, you will be guided back to your hotel in Uttarkashi for an overnight stay.

Day 6 :Uttarkashi – Srinagar (205 km/ 8 hr)

Early in the morning, you will be made to transfer to your next destination of Srinagar. It is advised to commence the journey early in the morning since you want to reach Srinagar in time and before late evening. En route you will also be able to witness the grand sites of Tehri dam. Upon your arrival in Srinagar, you will be made to immediately check in to your allotted hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 7 :Srinagar – Sitapur (80 km / 4 hr)

Early in the morning, your drive towards the holy town of Phata / Sitapur will commence. In case you are planning on going to Kedarnath Dham by helicopter then you will be dropped to Phata. If you are planning on trekking to the main dham shrine then you will be dropped off at Sitapur. You will be taken to Guptkashi which is home to the famous Kashi Vishwanath Mandir. Upon your arrival in Sitapur, you will be made to check in to your allotted hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 8 :Sitapur – Kedarnath – Sitapur (19 km Trek / 6 hrs)

From Sitapur, your journey to Kedarnath Dham shrine will commence early in the morning. In case you have decided on visiting Kedarnath Dham via a helicopter then you will be dropped off at Phata. The cost of the helicopter ride will be incurred on you. In case you have decided to trek your way to the dham then you will be dropped off at Sonprayag. You will be dropped off at Gaurikund from where your perilous trek to Kedarnath will commence. People also have the option of choosing from various alternative transport options like ponies and palkis. After offering your prayers at the dham you will be made to trek back to your base camp in Sitapur since there are no accommodations available around the premises of the temple.

Day 9 :Sitapur – Badrinath (230 km / 9 hr)

Early in the morning, you will be made to head on towards your next destination of Badrinath Dham. Via Joshimath, you will be made to go for darshan of Narasimha mandir. After covering a grueling 9 hours of road journey you will be reaching one of the most highly revered dham site of Badrinath. Upon your arrival in Badrinath, you will be immediately be made to check in to your allotted hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 10 :Badrinath – Pipalkoti (80 km / 4 hr)

Early in the morning, you will be taken to the main temple shrine to attend the morning puja rituals that take place for Badrinarayan. It is necessary for the pilgrims to take a holy dip in the Tapt Kund before heading on to the main temple shrine. You will then be assisted to Pipalkoti which is situated at a road journey distance of 4 hours. Upon your arrival in Pipalkoti, you will be checked in to your allotted hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 11 :Pipalkoti – Haridwar – Delhi (220 km /6 hr)

You will be driven to Haridwar early in the morning where en route you will be made to experience the famous and extremely pious Devprayag. Upon arriving at Haridwar after covering a road journey of 6 hours, you will be taken to Har Ki Pauri for a holy dip in the holy water of Ganga. You will also be made to witness the grand Ganga aarti taking place on the Ganga Ghat. You will then be made to board the bus heading towards Delhi, which will be an overnight journey.

Day 12 :Delhi Departure

You will be arriving in Delhi early in the morning form where you will be boarding the flight/train headed towards your desired destination hence ending your char dham yatra tour package with us.
