Yamunotri Temple Tour Itinerary

Day 1 :Delhi – Haridwar (210 km /6-7 hrs)

The first holy destination in our pilgrimage is Haridwar. Upon reaching the holy city, you can luxuriously indulge in freshening up at the hotel. Afterward, join us for sightseeing of Haridwar top attractions at Mansa Devi Temple, Daksha Mahadev Temple, Chandi Devi Temple and Har ki Pauri. The highlight of the day is reserved for the evening, the enchanting ‘Ganga Aarti’. Let your senses be immersed in the spiritual sublimity evoked by the enchantingly beautiful Aarti. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2 :Haridwar – Barkot (220 km – 8/9 hrs)

We will drive towards Barkot after an early breakfast. The major halt would be at the popular tourist attraction in Mussoorie, Kempty Falls. We will resume our travel towards Barkot to reach its reserved hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 3 :Barkot – Yamunotri Temple (36 km drive & 7 km Trek)

You will be driven to Janki Chatti after a light breakfast. Our trek till Yamunotri Temple begins from Jankichatti. One can either walk the path or hire a pony/horse to reach the sacred temple. While at the temple, pay visit to Divya Shila and Surya Kund as well. After enjoying a blissful darshan, tread downwards towards the base-camp where our vehicles will be awaiting you to take you back safely to hotel in Barkot. Retire for an early night’s sleep at Barkot Hotel.

Day 4 :Barkot – Rishikesh – Haridwar

Our return journey will begin today. We will halt at Rishikesh to let you enjoy the many sights of Rishikesh. These include Ram Jhula, Bharat Mata Temple, Laxman Jhula, Swarg Ashram, Sivananda Ashram etc. We will then resume our drive towards Haridwar. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 5 :Haridwar – Delhi (210 km / 6-7 hr)

The final day will have us drive you towards Delhi. Upon reaching Delhi, you will be accompanied to your corresponding Railway Station/Airport. Hopefully, you would remember us ahead for the wonderful memories we shared while on Yamunotri Yatra. The tour to Yamunotri from Delhi thus concludes!
